Given the blizzard of information - from legacy documents, corporate knowledge bases, on-line repositories, plus the seemingly endless proliferation of blogs, wikis, social networks and other "Web 2.0" constructs - that has inundated us all, sorting the wheat from the chaff, the useful from the time-wasting, can seem an impossible task.
