Board Seeks Nominations to Fill Two Board Positions Interested
in helping shape the future of our organization and making a difference
to A&D project managers? Consider running for one of these positions
on the Board of Directors (or if you know of someone that deserves
this opportunity, consider nominating them):Vice Chair Communications Vice Chair Membership
You may nominate yourself or another member for a position. Should you wish to nominate another member, please first confirm that that member is willing to stand for the position and copy the nominee on the e-mail. A confirming e-mail will be sent to each nominee to verify his or her agreement with the nomination. Candidates are urged to include a brief biography (no more than 200 words) with their nomination. A&D SIG to Hold Annual Membership Meeting at North American Global Congress - Mark Your Calendars! Join
us Sunday, 7 October 2007 for the A&D SIG’s Annual Membership
Meeting to be held at the PMI® Global
Congress North America 2007. For
those who have not attended an Annual Membership Meeting, you are
encouraged to stop by the meeting even if you are new to PMI. The
Annual Membership Meeting is a good way to connect with other members
and find out what we are up to as a SIG, as well as our future plans
for the organization in 2008.

a token of the A&D SIG's appreciation for your participation
in the SIG, we would like to send you a lapel pin. We
encourage all members to wear the pin at PMI®
chapter and international events and to look for, and network with,
other A&D SIG members wearing their pins. Show your pride in

PMI Board of Director Elections  Each
year PMI members have an opportunity to elect representatives for
the PMI Board of Directors. This is an important privilege, and members
are strongly encourage to review the candidates' bios along with their
respective vision statements and select the candidates who would best
support the interests of our SIG and related industries. The election
will run through 24 September at 5 PM. Eastern Daylight Time (GMT
–4), so if you have not voted yet, please do so before the deadline. If you need to verify your PMI identification number, contact customercare@pmi.org. If you did not receive a ballot, contact Paul Nentwig of Intelliscan, Inc. at pnentwig@intelliscaninc.com. |
